Bike to School Day

May the Fourth was National Walk and Bike to School Day. 35 elementary schools and 8 middle schools joined the festivities which featured Fire Truck Escorts, Bike Parades, and thousands of joyful students who used their feet to get to school. This event was sponsored by a generous donation from Jambar which provided organic treats at the schools’ welcome tables. Thanks goes to our dedicated parent, teacher and student volunteers who make these events possible on their campuses. “Yoda Best!”

Bridge the Bay

Bridge the Bay was hosted on April 23 at Pickleweed Park in San Rafael. Thanks to the Bay Area Bike Mobile, 60 bikes were repaired and made ready to ride benefiting residents of the Canal Area. Festivities included a mural painting, the bike blender to pedal smoothies, and educational games promoting environmental awareness.
